What we pour

Services, graded to the job.

Every application uses a different concrete strength grade. We spec the right mix rather than a one-size pour — here's what goes where.

N32

Driveways

Broom-finished or exposed aggregate driveways engineered for vehicle loads and Melbourne's reactive clay.

N25

Paths & Patios

Coloured, stencilled or plain paths and alfresco patios finished to match your landscaping.

N40

Structural Slabs

House slabs, shed bases and garage floors poured to engineer specification with full reinforcement.

N20

Footings & Retaining Walls

Strip and pad footings, plus block or poured retaining walls for sloped Melbourne blocks.

N20 / N25 / N32 / N40 — the compressive strength grade (MPa) each application is engineered to, per AS 1379.

How a pour happens

From quote to cured slab.

Five stages, same crew start to finish — no subcontracted pours.

01

Site visit & quote

We assess ground conditions, drainage and access, then send a fixed-price quote within 48 hours.

02

Excavation & base

Excavate to level, compact road base, and lay damp-proof membrane where required.

03

Formwork & reinforcement

Boxing set to fall and levels, then SL72/SL82 mesh or reo bar placed per spec.

04

Pour & finish

Concrete placed, screeded and finished — broom, exposed aggregate, stencil or trowel.

05

Cure & handover

Curing compound applied, site protected, and a handover walkthrough once fully cured.

Why the wait matters

Concrete keeps getting stronger.

A slab is walkable within a day or two, but it isn't at full design strength until 28 days. We tell every client what to keep off it, and when.

Approximate compressive-strength gain for standard portland cement mixes. Vehicles should stay off new driveways until at least day 7, and full loads should wait for day 28.

Client reviews

What the job site says.

"Quoted accurately, turned up on the day they said, and the exposed aggregate finish looks better than the display home we copied it from."

Priya N. — Colac driveway, 2025

"Our block slopes badly. They explained the footing plan in plain English before pouring the retaining wall, no surprises on the invoice either."

Marcus D. — Werribee retaining wall, 2024

"Shed slab poured and cured well ahead of our installer's date. Communicated clearly about curing times so nothing got delayed."

Sarah K. — Werribee shed base, 2025
